[ 6 ] Time Capsules

to Town Hall front doors

Wellfleet Selectmen twice authorized placing Time Capsules containing local memorabilia on the Town Hall lawn. The first was buried in 1963 during Wellfleet’s 200^th Incorporation Anniversary Celebration, and was opened in 2013 during the 250^th Anniversary celebration; the second, placed in 1976 during America's bicentennial celebration, will be opened in 2076 AD.
